ComReg Publishes Consumer Care Statistics Report Q3 2023

ComReg has published details of issues raised by consumers who contacted its Consumer Care team between 1 July to 30 September 2023 (Q3 2023).

In Summary in Q3 2023:

  • ComReg’s Consumer Care team answered 3,090 consumer queries and managed 304 consumer complaints. This is a 5% decrease in issues reported to ComReg compared to the same quarter last year, Q3 2022 (4% decrease in ECS and 14% decrease in PRS issues reported to ComReg).
  • For Mobile Service Provider complaints, the median resolution time decreased to 8.5 working days, compared to 13 working days in Q2 2023, and the average number of complaints per 100,000 subscribers was 1.1, compared to 0.9 in Q2 2023;
  • For Fixed Service Provider complaints, the median resolution time decreased to 7 working days, compared to 11 working days in Q2 2023. The average number of complaints per 100,000 fixed voice lines decreased to 2.9, compared to 4.7 in Q2 2023. The average number of complaints per 100,000 fixed broadband lines decreased to 10.4, compared to 11.7 in Q2 2023.
