Division overview
The Corporate Services Division and the Information Technology Team
The Corporate Services Division develops and implements corporate affairs and communications strategies designed to enhance our organisational performance and effectiveness. It is a key function, supporting all other Divisions across ComReg in the areas of Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Public Relations, and Facilities Management.
Our IT team have a wide variety of functions including;
• Infrastructure
• Support Desk
• Data Analysis
• Systems Development
• Cybersecurity
The successful candidate will be actively engaged in the development and support of ComReg’s IT infrastructure, information services, business solutions and web applications.
The role and responsibilities
• Reporting to ComReg’s IT Systems Development Manager, the primary role of the IT Business Analyst is to contribute to IT managed projects from user requirement analysis through testing and implementation so as to deliver IT projects which meet ComReg’s business requirements.
• More specifically the individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

Conduct Feasibility Analysis
Requirements Documentation
Stakeholder Communications
Project Delivery
Qualifications and Experience required
Essential
• Technical Degree to bachelor level or other related third level qualification or related experience
• Strong Business Analysis experience, including the capability to analyse complex business challenges and identify applicable solutions
• Proven track record in producing high quality Business Requirements Documents, Business Processes Mapping and documentation skills
• Strong track record of leading initiatives and engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
• Experience in designing and running requirements gathering workshops, including workshops for senior stakeholders
• Good project management skill with ability to plan and schedule own work and work towards tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complicated processes and concepts to non-technical audiences
Desirable
• A recognised Business Analyst Certification e.g. CBAP
• A recognised Project Management Certification e.g. Agile, PMP, Prince2 with a solid understanding of development lifecycles, methodologies, quality metrics
• Up-to-date with recent trends in Cybersecurity, AI & other Emerging Technologies, and how they can be used to strategically support business
• Knowledge of the technology needs and business processes of a regulatory body, including licensing systems, issues management systems and spectrum management
• Previous exposure to bespoke IS solutions
• Experience in the implementation of Microsoft/M365 applications
• Experience working with or understanding of large data handling environments including management information systems and database architecture such as Microsoft SQL Server

Our Package
We are offering an attractive package:
• Salary €62,842.22 – € 86,787.06 * (entry will be at the minimum point and the rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.)
