We are looking for law graduates with an interest in public service, digital regulation – cybersecurity, physical resilience, AI, cloud, data and telecoms/EU law.
What you will be doing
Our two-year programme will give each graduate the opportunity to experience working in the public sector as a regulator, learning how we shape policy in tandem with our European partners and Government colleagues, and how we ensure access to ubiquitous, affordable, and high-quality digital and communications services and digital infrastructure which support users’ social and economic needs. ComReg is a dynamic organisation with a growing remit that will soon see us play a leading role in resolving the imbalance of power between providers and customers in the EU cloud market and ensuring that Ireland’s digital infrastructure can manage risks such as cybersecurity threats and those that threaten the provision of essential services.
You will gain experience in various legal fields, such as competition, EU, litigation and administrative law, as well as learning about consumer protection. You will develop skills in drafting, legal research, team-working, communication and stakeholder management. Members of the graduate programme will rotate across at least two ComReg divisions as well as the central General Counsel function and will be provided with ongoing support and ample opportunity for professional development.
What you will learn
Our graduate programme offers an excellent springboard for your future career. On completion, you will be equipped with the skills and experience to match your academic background, making you a strong potential candidate for any future roles with us, or within the wider market.
