ComReg works on a cross-functional project basis, and it’s invigorating to work closely with economists, accountants, and engineers every day.
I am a Legal Manager in the Market Framework division having joined the organisation 9 years ago. As a senior regulatory and competition lawyer, I have previously worked at regulators in the UK and Ireland.
Day-to-day, my role consists of giving legal, policy and strategic advice on various projects, keeping up to date with legal developments and liaising with colleagues at the European Commission and other regulators.
As lawyers at ComReg are fully integrated into project teams, I have worked on a variety of projects during my time with the organisation. What I find exciting is working on innovative and ground-breaking projects in the spectrum, cybersecurity, and numbering areas, that help consumers, and drive innovation.
ComReg works on a cross-functional project basis, and it’s invigorating to work closely with economists, accountants, and engineers every day.
I really enjoy the variety, that no two days are ever the same, the new challenges and the diversity of opportunities that are presented. The support from my colleagues is great, especially when it comes to the number of acronyms used in Telecoms!
ComReg encourages all staff to develop within their role and champions continuous professional development to enhance your skills and career opportunities. ComReg has supported me with further education, which I have found very useful in my day-to-day work.
The strong support for lifelong professional learning is very attractive.
I would consider the culture to be very open, friendly, and non-hierarchical. I would highly recommend ComReg as a great place to work as you are working at the cutting-edge of technology, policy, and innovation.
