The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation of its kind providing care and support to people with Motor Neurone Disease, their families, friends and carers. We provide support services to help people living with the disease - these services include access to 6 MND Nurses, provision of specialised equipment, counselling sessions, funding towards research, funding towards homecare and operation of a helpline. Our National Drink Tea for MND campaign happens for the month of June and enables us to continue providing these services.

An accommodation facility near St Vincents Hospital for families of patients with Cystic Fibrosis undergoing long hospitalisations. 2)Irelands first wellness/respite facility, especially for CF patients.

ONE’s primary objective is to support the needs of Irish veterans by the provision of accommodation to homeless and other veterans in need of such domestic accommodation in its Veterans’ Homes and the provision of other advice and support to veterans, in particular Mental Health advice.

Kevin Sinfield is running 7 marathons in 7 days in 7 cities and tomorrow he comes to Dublin. IMNDA is one of the beneficiary charities and Charlie Bird is involved in the challenge also

Woodie’s Heroes is an annual charity fundraising drive organised by retailer Woodie’s which raises money for 4 different Irish children’s charities each summer. The charities are picked by an internal colleague vote and donations come through stores, online donations and donations from suppliers of the organisation. At the end of the fundraising period, the funds raised are divided equally among the 4 charities. This year the charities are Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, ISPCC Childline, Make-A-Wish & Down Syndrome Ireland.
