ComReg has been notified that Decathlon Sports Ireland has recalled the following products:
- KIPRUN GPS 500 Model
- KIPRUN GPS 550 Model
ComReg has been notified that the recall is because of a safety issue identified with KIPRUN GPS 500 Model and KIPRUN GPS 550 Model: the battery in these products may overheat during charging and/or while in use and may cause burns and/or present a fire risk.
140 products have been sold to Consumers in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do:
If you have one of these products, please stop using it immediately.
Decathlon Sports Ireland have provided a consumer notice with details on the nature of the risk and how to return your product.
