Our Retail and Consumer Services Division promotes awareness of your rights and the services we provide through outreach activities that include stands at popular events such as the Holiday World Show and the National Ploughing Championships. We advertise through social media and in targeted publications such as the Senior Times Magazine. We distribute our consumer guides through a network of GP surgeries, health centres and hospitals nationwide.

The aim of our Consumer Engagement programme is to protect and empower you to make informed choices by maximising the effectiveness of our consumer information and communication. We also aim to promote the interests of users within the community.

Through outreach activities, we engage you to:

  • Inform and empower you on how to best engage with your ECS and PRS service providers in line with their complaints handling Codes of Practice
  • Educate you on your ECS and PRS rights and to dispute resolution service provided by our Consumer Care Team.
  • Protect you, particularly if you are a vulnerable user who finds dealing with ECS and PRS providers challenging

Our Consumer Engagement Programme is part of our Strategy Statement, our strategic planning process and Section 12 (1)(a)(iii) of the Communications Regulation Act, 2002 (2007 amended).
