Yourtel Service

ComReg has received reports from Yourtel customers that difficulties are being experienced making outbound calls. These customers can still receive inbound calls. ComReg understands that, in a recent letter, Yourtel has advised customers that it is leaving the Irish Market and that customers should switch to an alternative service provider.

Until Yourtel customers switch to an alternative service provider, ComReg advises that they can continue to make calls by entering the prefix 13666 before the number they wish to dial to connect the call through eir’s service. This should also include the Area code. For example, to call the number (01) 8049668, dialling 13666 01 8049668 will connect the call.

If customers use the prefix 13666 to make calls they will be charged on a per call basis on their eir line rental bill.

Yourtel customers can visit ComReg Compare to review the plans available from other service providers.

ComReg will update its website with further information as it becomes available.
